We would like to give a special shout-out to all of our clients that have senior pets. Your love and devotion to your fur-baby is an admirable example for every pet owner. We would LOVE to see pictures of you and your older animals!
It’s far too common for older dogs and cats to be surrendered to shelters, and adoption rates for senior pets are low.
If it’s time to add to your family, consider adopting a mature pet. Most are already well-trained, calmer, and come with a more specific history to better match your wants in a companion. Additionally, a more specific history means a better understanding of their past and current health to inform your veterinarian of. This can save you money as maintaining a baseline of health is easier than diagnosis or discovery.
